About Me

I grew up in a good time on a acreage in Millarville, Alberta where i was home schooled up to grade 10. This oppurtunity gave me plenty of time to discover the natural creative spark in me. One could always find me creating something, anything i could get my hands on I made into something else. After taking more and more art classes and throughout highschool, the passion inside of me kept on growing. After highschool 2014, I made my Country Strong Arts page on Facebook to showcase all my art. Soon my art journey turned into markets all throughout Alberta, and I began making other products other than paintings, like t-shirts, mugs, vases, felted animals, painted rocks, cards, and magnets. In 2015 I began teaching art classes on my own. 2016 as a young woman of 21, I got a job at Branch Market and Studio in Black Diamond, and also started teaching art classes once a week at Studio Me in Okotoks. At this time i was also enrolled in Massage Therapy in Calgary. Life changed, November 26th 2017, In Massage School I had a awakening, and realized that I was not following my art vision by going to massage school, so i dropped out to follow my ultimate dream. I  immediately began taking my art to the next level, opening a Etsy store, marketing, social media, markets, painting , researching, reading, teaching art classes, grooming dogs out of my home, writing my first book, and working in the Studio which is where I stand today on my wild, risky, passionate, enduring art journey. My vision of the future is working full time as a artist, teacher, author and entrenpreneur. I want my art and story to inspire people to follow their dreams, and passion, and to never give up on anything, always persevere and take action! also to get outdoors, away from reality and go on adventures in the mountains for a new perspective and spiritual awakening on life! My favorite all time quote, from my favorite all time movie Shawshank Redemption: Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
